HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil

Description
 HYDROSOFT  C-60 Oil is a new product developed by Zhejiang Kefeng Silicone Co., Ltd. The  product is a ternary block functional silicone copolymer, which combines  several chemical entities in one linear molecule (siloxane& polyamine &  polyether copolymer). HYDROSOFT C-80 Oil is a new textile auxiliary agent  designed to deliver a hydrophilic, soft, silky hand feel to all types of  fabrics at lower dosage.
Product performance

• HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil is much more softer & smooth than the  traditional hydrophilic amino-modified silicone softeners. It is a best  replacer of Magnasoft DerMaNT (made by Momentive).

• HYDROSOFT  C-60 Oil is suitable for different types of fiber (e.g. cotton, wool, man-made  fibers, viscose fibers, silk, and blended), especially for cotton (like kinds  of bathroom towel), give cotton fabric the hydrophilic and superb softness.

• Almost  don’t turn yellow when application at fibers.

• Resistance  to laundry washes;

• Excellent using safety and environmentally friendly.

• Excellent compound compatibility, fabric can be directly  redyed after finished by HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil.

• Acid  and alkali resistant, high temperature resistant, high shear resistance.

• Non-stick to roller, no-demulsification or floating oil,  no silicone spot.

Application
Method:
HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil is  emulsified to use during finishing. It should be used at a dosage level of 3-5 g/L  (content of actual active ingredient) in the bath.

Notes:
 1. The product can’t be mixed up with anion products.


2. Recommended emulsifier is Lutensol  TO-8EO or Super Emulsifier 408 (produced by Kefeng Chemical), it would be  better to stir by anchor agitator when emulsify.


3. Shelf life of the stock solution is 2  years.


4. If test the product performance,  efficacy should be observed after 24 hours. So the real results is one day  after treatment.

 After treated with HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil,  softness, wicking, wettability and whiteness are showed in Table 1.

Product emulsions are all in 20% active  ingredient. The softness rating is based on a scale of 1 to 8, with 8 being the  softest. The wettabilityrate is measured in seconds. Wicking grade is valued in  mm. According to AATCC Test Method 110-1995, the whiteness rating compares the  percent reflectance after treatment to the percent reflectance of white  standard, or control. The highernumber means whiter fabric.
 As Table 1 showed that,  HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil has great softness,  wicking grade, wettability, and whiteness than blank control. Compared with  MagnasoftDerMa NT (made by Momentive), HYDROSOFT C-60 Oil has slightly inferior wicking, but  equal wettability and whiteness, even has greater softness. 


Storage
 Products shall be ideally stored  in a cool, dry location in unopened containers at a temperature between 8?to 28? unless otherwise  labeled. Optimal storage is at the lower half of this temperature range. To  prevent contamination of unused product, do not return any material to its  original container.
